I will take any excuse to get dressed up, so when I was asked to try Gleam by Melanie Mills, I could not wait to add it to my makeup lineup. The beauty of this product, though, is that you don’t need an excuse to use it. It’s the perfect way to add some color into your everyday routine.
Body Radiance and Radiant Dust are multi-purpose products that can be used as a moisturizer — and not just for your face! Body Radiance has just enough shimmer to give your skin a beautiful glow. You could even use it with bare legs to avoid having to wear panty hose.
There are four different shades of Body Radiance — Light Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze Gold, and Deep Gold. At first, I was surprised by the color of the makeup — I used Light Gold and it was *very* yellow. I was afraid it would turn my skin a sickly color, but it did the exact opposite! As I massaged the makeup into my skin, it blended so well and left my face with a smooth appearance and a subtle glow.
And don’t let the tint of the makeup worry you — it doesn’t transfer from your skin and won’t stain your clothes.
Radiant Dust is available in Light Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze Gold, and Deep Gold. I used Rose Gold Radiant Dust as a simple eyeshadow, but I’m excited to try it to add some shimmer to my skin on our next date night. It’s so versatile.
Lip Radiance is moisturizing, hydrating lip color that won’t bleed. It’s available in seven colors — Naked, Pop My Cork, Uncontrollable, Unforgettable, Unstoppable, Up Against the Wall, and With My Heels On. Aren’t those such fun names?
The colors I tried went perfectly with my fair skin and freckles. My skin actually looked like it had been kissed by the sun — without the awful red tint that comes when I spend time outside. I can’t wait to use it to add some color to my legs. They could definitely use some help in the color area.
